Our Occupational Therapists see children
experiencing difficulties with…

Occupational Therapists are concerned with what individuals do to ‘occupy’ their time. Depending on the child’s age, this could be learning to move, play, or complete schoolwork. Independence in these activities requires many skills that are like building blocks. They all add up to the end product of success. An Occupational Therapist looks at the child’s individual ability to perform everyday activities. Our OTs typically use the occupation of ‘play’ as a tool to strengthen the many building block skills.
