RIANNA AGUILAR- OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY - HORNSBY
Rianna has been working at Building Blacks Occupational Therapy (Hornsby) since November 3, 2023. She graduated in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has had previous clinical experience in handling children with different disabilities at various clinical placements.
She is pursuing her passion in inclusive education and is taking a Master’s in Inclusive Education (Advanced) at Torrens University, Sydney. She is interested in and passionate about working on emotional regulation and social skills among school-aged children. She also advocates for sensory processing and handles children who struggle with processing sensory input.
She values empathy and compassion above all else and uses these values as a driving force to provide client care.
Rianna also loves dealing with children because it helps heal her inner child. She loves how creative/fun they are.
She enjoys going on walks, having a coffee by the beach, and longboarding during her free time. Besides her love for children, she also loves her pet cat Jun.
Rianna is fluent in Tagalog.
