SUE BAXTER - PRACTICE MANAGER
Sue joined Building Blocks as the Office Manager in 2008, after her son started school. Sue has a diverse job background and has held such roles as executive assistant, croupier, swimming and drama teacher, and High School/HSC English tutor. She brings creativity, sound office skills, experience working with children, and a great deal of empathy to a very busy role.
Sue took on the challenging role of OT Assistant in 2014, developing group work skills for preschoolers with fine motor difficulties. She has also run Fabulous Food Play, a great play group for young children experiencing difficulties with the sensory components of eating.
After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Communication Studies, Sue decided to continue studying (sucker for punishment!) and has achieved a Master of Arts, specialising in Creative Writing.
When not immersed in reading and study, Sue loves to get involved in theatre, and enjoys spending time sailing, diving and fishing with her husband and son on their yacht, ‘Symphony’, as well as travel, creative activities, camping and 4WD adventures.
Sue is dedicated to her role and loves the positive environment and the wonderful team she works with. She takes great satisfaction from knowing she is helping Building Blocks offer such a valuable service to the children of the local community.
