Funding

HOW CAN I ACCESS FUNDING FOR OT?

There are several funding options to help cover the cost of Occupational Therapy.

NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME (NDIS)

We can see NDIS participants who are Self-Managing their funding, or have a Third Party Plan Management Partner.
We are no longer accepting clients who are NDIA (Agency) Managed.

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE FUNDS

Our staff are registered as providers with the major Private Health Insurance Funds. You will need to check with your own fund to determine your rebate.

Occupational Therapy Items:

Item 300 for Group Therapy

MEDICARE

You may be eligible to claim a rebate under a Medicare Plan such as the CDMP or the BAMHCP. If you wish to claim rebates, your GP will need to assess your eligibility and draw up a suitable plan.

FAHCSIA EARLY INTERVENTION AND BETTER START INITIATE

We are a registered FaHCSIA Early Intervention and Better Start Service Provider.
You will need to have seen a Paediatrician and/or obtained a diagnosis to determine if you qualify for FaHCSIA funding under the Helping Children with Autism Package or the Better Start Initiative (for children with Vision or Hearing impairment, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X and more). FaHCSIA and Better Start funded clients will be transitioned to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the 2016/2017 roll out.
