Jess has been a part of the Building Blocks team since March 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University. Jess has a passion for paediatric OT and is particularly interested in gross motor and physical development which stems from her experience working as a gymnastics coach for the past four years.

Jess has experience and training working with children with many forms of physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities gained during her clinical placements while at university and from her vast experience both working and participating in disabled and adaptive sports. She has particular interest in helping children develop their social skills, physical gross and fine motor skills, and school readiness.

In her spare time, Jess enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, practicing her guitar and ukulele, and playing sports including gymnastics, swimming, soccer and goalball. Jess is particularly proud of her participation in the Australian Women’s Paralympic Squad and 2017 World Championship Women’s gold-medal win for Goalball.
