CAITLIN O'NEIL - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Caitlin was delighted to join the Building Blocks team in October 2017, following completion of her Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney.

Caitlin enjoys working as part of the team at Building Blocks OT due to their friendly atmosphere, and passion for reaching and supporting families. Throughout her studies and training, Caitlin has developed a strong interest in understanding the brain and how it contributes to our daily function. Caitlin spent time working in hospitals, community health centres and in workplace rehabilitation, before deciding that paediatrics was her area of interest.

Caitlin is excited to meet your family, and hopes to do everything possible to enable your child to reach their potential. She is particularly passionate about helping children who have difficulties with their motor, social and writing skills. She also loves helping children who have ASD and using the DIR/Floortime method to see their language and social skills flourish.

In her spare time, Caitlin loves going to the beach, bush-walking, bouldering, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading novels and completing artsy projects.
